“The idea to curve Luminux shapes came to me when creating Luminux’s commissioned 50' diameter ceiling sculpture, MIGRATE, in the Fayetteville Airport atrium. That installation inspired me to innovate a fluid mobile that floats mid-air, similarly to the MIGRATE public art sculpture. Luminux panels give way easily to the influence of the roller, while the wood substructure is a bit more stubborn, yet in spite of the challenge, the two materials marry beautifully.”
