Yes, antique mirror can be installed on ceilings, but traditional glass mirror can be challenging because of its weight, fragility, and installation liability.Luminux is especially well suited for reflective ceilings and antique mirror ceiling applications because it is approximately 10x lighter than 1/4" glass mirror. This makes it easier to handle, easier to install, and more practical for overhead applications in hotels, restaurants, clubs, lobbies, and other commercial interiors.

Luminux panels can be installed directly to a clean, flat ceiling substrate using Titebond adhesive. Panels should be dry-fitted first, cut as needed around ceiling elements, and installed with the protective film left in place until the end. Because Luminux is only about 0.02" thick and very lightweight, it usually does not require a heavy framing system, though small molding or trim can be added at the edges if desired.
