Eclipse

Eclipse descends from the ceiling, over eight feet of dynamic light reflections and gentle movement swaying mid-air, with circular discs laminated with signature Luminux panels.

Versatile Beauty and Dynamic Light Play

From The Artists

“Inspired by my neighbor’s wind chime that would go insane in any  storm, Eclipse started as my least favorite design.  Up until we hung  the first full sculpture, I think reliving those loud nights affected my appreciation of it. The piece has such a calming and peaceful nature when free to "do its thing" in a space. When the rough sketch of the new horizontal structure for Eclipse was created, I knew I wanted to take the opportunity to add abstract, organic art to each circular panel and create a landscape of varying tones and textures from nature.”

- Gary Bannister, Luminux

“Gary's creative beauty shines through in this simple, yet elegant sculpture. Of all his small scale models he built, he claimed to like this one the least. Well, last place turned into a winner, enhanced by his fabulous Luminux reflective designs. I really enjoyed seeing this ugly duckling come to life.”

- Angelique Jackson, Luminux

What Our Clients Say:

“We selected [Luminux] for their expertise in large-scale suspended works and their ability to translate architectural intent into sculptural form. Their concept captured the spirit of the building while introducing movement, lightness, and visual energy to the space.

- Wendy Cerkovnik, Director of Campus Design at The City of Refuge
